If you read my previous post, you’ll know I was involved in Affiliate Marketing for quite some time already. Through thick and thin, struggling here and there.. today I check this year summary report activity, I was shocked.. WOW!! I have been helping merchants to generate around $1 Million sales this year! Well, it is not what I earn promoting them, it’s the gross amount of total sales for the merchant, I only earn very tiny percentage commission, but I’m very grateful for it, consider I’m doing it part time =) I’m only one tiny affiliate of theirs, not everyone knows, every sec, yes every sec, there are few sales generated in their system. Can you imagine how huge the power of internet for business are? No wonder nowadays a lot of business will go online, those still go traditional will be left behind soon.

Some of you might be curious how do I do it and where I learn the skill from. I’m posting my small achievement is not for show off at all. Just to share my life and how happy I’m about it, isn’t that what blog is for? I’m gonna share as well about the course that I took just in case some of you want to learn about it.

There are tons or even millions of internet marketing out there.. a lot of people talking about it and I bet you have seen one before things like ‘how to make money online’. is it a scam? well, here is my opinion: Not really, not all of them are scams, but MOST of them are! This kind of scam happen in every industry I believe, it’s not only Internet marketing, you’ll see how easy to earn money type of advertising on forex, option, hyip and so on. So, please be open minded and be smart about it, dont just believe what they’re offering and day dreaming you’re gonna be rich soon.. wake up, you’re day dreaming! With the power of internet, it’s even easier for people to scam others by selling big promises or system that doesn’t work at all. Dont be to skeptic and reject everything as well, you’ll miss out the nicest thing you wont even know

Out of millions of affiliate marketing course, what course I took to learn about it? Well, last year during my research, I get to know a course called Pay Per Click Formula (PPCF). It is not a cheap course, or I will say, it’s very damn expensive. After reading few reviews about it, I decided to purchase it. Does the course really work? Well, the course teaching you about PPC skill to promote CPA offer. If you’re wondering what CPA is, basicly you’re generating leads/prospect customer for your merchant business and they will pay you for every prospect you refer, it’s like those people ask you to fill up form in the shopping mall or subway to sign up for CC or insurance. it works for some people, people say it’s easy money but to be honest, I only tried few CPA offers, I dont really have good result, due to competition and some various reasons. But the course itself is Great! Instead, I use the skill taught from the course to promote real product. It’s the same skill you’ll need. One more thing before I forgot, purchasing the course itself will not make you money. Yes, bad news! Yes, I tell you the truth so you wont day dreaming about it. In this IM world, things change VERY fast, you can’t just depend on this course alone. Those of you who dont have IT background, I think it will be very difficult for you if you dont want to learn IT on top of this course. You will need to learn how to make website as well. if you’re not serious, you’re just gonna waste your money, it’s not cheap at all. But, if you really serious want to learn about it and want to learn, the reward is so damn nice! I LOVE IT! Did I tell you that I earn the commission when I sleep, eat, office hour, traveling, etc? I think this is one of the good course out there for you to start if you keen to learn. The best thing purchasing this course is not about the course itself, lol.. yes.. I dont think I have finished all of it. The best thing is the FORUM and the community of this course. Let me tell you, you’ll need the right community to bring you up and success, the forum full of many successful people who’s very very willing to help others. I visit the forum almost on daily basis, I’m only newbie there, the total of gross sales that my merchant generated $1 million, is what some of their annual income net. Yes, it’s true, it’s possible. Of course, only 5% of the people achieve it, but they’re very kind and willing to help.

Ok, enough about it, the more I continue, the more I sounds like promoting it, I do not want my post become something like promoting this course. I simply want to share and hope it will help some of you out there. Cheers~!

Hey guys.. I met my friend who’s asking about my blog and it remind me to update this blog again. I have been really busy this past few months until I don’t have time to update my blog. There are SO many interesting thing I found & learn that I would like to share, especially about goal setting, Whoa.. I really shocked about the dangerous of goal setting that I learn about it recently, I really excited to share about it, you gotta keep reading it until finish.. really.. seriously, 5-10 minutes reading this post will help change your life, but before that, let me do update on my goal from my previous posting creating milestones toward big goal for those who’re wondering about the result. Well, my milestone last time was obtaining 5 figures income net/month from affiliate marketing. I couldn’t met that milestone on July, I can only manage to obtain 5 figure gross, but I’m pretty happy with the result, considering I’m only doing it part time and the net was pretty close though This past month I have tried to figure out how to solve this missing link toward my that big goal, I roughly know what need to be done, but a lot of work need to be done, perhaps I’ll try to outsource thing that can be outsourced.

Another thing that I would love to share is about the seminar that I attended. There were about 20 international speakers from that seminar, mostly are millionariers. But, out of about 20 people, only 1 person that I feel is outstanding. Do you know the famous book called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki? No, the person is not Robert Kiyosaki, but rather the Rich Dad himself that mentor Robert! Can you believe it? I was really excited to know about him. I never thought the Rich Dad was real. His name is Keith Cunningham, he’s really a successful businessman and really really rich. He has lost $100 Million in business before! So, It’s awesome to hear from the real master directly about his teaching. Not only he’s so good on financial and business, he’s also damn cool and share valuable things that he learn from his personal life! I’m really interested to know what the mindset he has to bring to that level and most importantly what valuable information successful people learn from his life. I were shocked hearing what he encountered and learned from his life, especially during his down time. It’s so totally completely different on what normal people teach, no wonder only 5-10% people who can understand and grasp the mindset become successful in life. His view and his teachings in life has changed my personal plan and it’s really an eye opener for me. He’s not only teach about financial success, but also what he learn about life. Wouldn’t it be very interesting to hear what successful people learn in their life?

Goal setting are indeed important, but according to Keith, it’s not everything, especially in life. You need to be aware on the drawback of goal setting. Keith says that most people try so hard and so obsessed achieving their goal thinking once they have achieved their goal, they will be happy. The problem is that by making this up, we make where we are now wrong and where we want/our goal is right. This is the surest way for people to be unhappy and feel miserable in their life, because we make where we are wrong! Another drawback of goal setting is that when we plan for something, we have tendency to attached to that goal and end up ignoring all the other great alternative possibility surround us. Most successful people didn’t end up where they thought the’re going with their plan. They’re successful because they remain flexible & responsive along their way, not because of goal setting, but rather from “creation” that requiring skill and mindset, the ability to see opportunities and this definitely requires immense amount of gratitude of where we are right now! Having gratitude of what you have in your life is critical, it’s the first step toward success & happy life. God or universe will not give you more if you are not grateful of what you have right now.
Wait.. This doesn’t mean we don’t need to have goal or plan anything in your life, creation is not replacement but rather as companion of goal setting.

His teaching is definitely mind blowing that you would never think of it before, well at least for me. You gotta be grateful of what you have in your life. Make a gratitude list of 100 things in your life, if you can’t think any, think of those people more unfortunate that you, there.. you’ll get the list done!

As I mention in my last post, I was involved in affiliate marketing though PPC, I love it. I can’t really expose everything in here.. but, my first milestone was what all the newbies want to achieve.. $100/day net Yesterday, I reached my biggest day ever, and suddently Google slaped my campaign with no reason I’m not sure why, I do not do funny funny thing and I do not promote scamming and spamming advertiser. Obstacle always happend a long the process, but I’m not giving up, I’ll find a new way to reach my big milestones for end of July.

Lastly, I can’t wait to attend Harv Eker’s seminar “Never Work Again” next week! Yeah.. the title sounds too good to be true hehe.. I guess this seminar is also about passive income and investment kind of thing. Thanks to my good friend who is giving his ticket to me. I’ll try to share what I learn from seminar later. So far I have been following his money management system by creating about 6 differents account. you can read his money management system here.

Have you watched Fireproof? There are a lot of people who recommends me to watch Fireproof. Fireproof is an inspirational movie created by Sherwood Pictures. The same creator of Facing the Giants. They have successfully deliver a strong message again from the movie. I never expect to get responses on my articles about Facing the Giants, especially from their PR team. I just watched the movie last week and there is a great thing that I learn from the movie that I feel it would be great if I shared it in here.

Fireproof is a movie about a guy, Caleb, a veteran firefighter trying to save his own marriage from burning to the ground. His wife already pull the trigger to get the divorce, and he is also ready to let bullet hit him, but his father give him 40 days ‘Love Dare’ quest for him to save his marriage from burning down. Well, as expected, this movie is about love and relationship. There are 2 things from the movie that I feel worth to talk about :

1. What Love is All About
After about days 20th+ of his Love Dare attempts, with every single daily attempts was rejected by his wife, Caleb is about to give up saying that his wife doesn’t deserve this efforts. He said “How am I supposed to show love for somebody who over and over and over constantly rejects me?” and his father, John quietly responds “That’s a good question, I couldn’t truly love your mother till I understood what love really was”

Seems like from the movie, Love is all about giving and not expecting back anything. But does love is really about giving and giving and giving only? I wonder who on earth is able to give love only without receiving. People will definitely argue about this point. But, I feel receiving is also as vital as giving in relationship. The ability to receive is what makes us lovable. If you’re a great giver, but a lousy receiver, then you may be able to love, but make it hard for yourself to be loved.

2. God is The Source of Love
Back to the story again, other than Caleb doesn’t really understand what love is about, John also said that Caleb can’t love his wife because he himself doesn’t have one. “You can’t love her…because you can’t give her what you don’t have.”

Yes, I also agree, you can’t give something you don’t have(for everything). The movie showing Caleb understand and obtain Love from God, then he’s able to love his wife unconditionally. I wont spoil how he is finally save his marriage from fire, you gotta watch it!

Agree, I know it’s harder than it’s said, but please dont leave your partner, especially your life partner.

Hm.. I guess it will be better if they state it as don’t blindly follow your emotions. Yes, sometimes our heart can be deceived by our own thought that most often is negative, full of worried and fear, and the worst part is that it is not true at all. Remember, thought lead to feeling, so watch your thought

Year 2008 has been a great year for me, thanks to God I had a chance to travel to France and Taiwan sponsored by my company for business trip I should have shared this 2008 thingies on 2009 old ‘n new, but I guess late is better than nothing. I love France, when I visited it, everything reminds me of US, from the type of trees in the street, city structure, the environment to the people. Well, this maybe just because I miss US so much and thanks to God again he knew I miss US and let me to have this great opportunity, not to consider I just join this company for 2 months only. Taiwan is also a wonderful country, I love it! Taipei is a modern and advanced city like Singapore, the only difference is Singapore is so hot! haha.. Taipei has 4 seasons in a year which make their scenery even more beautiful, and the other part that makes me love Taiwan is the people and their food! Their local people are so nice and friendly, especially to the foreigner. My mandarin is total crap, I speak mandarin using body language and regardless of that, they’re still willing to communicate and help me.

Since beginning of 2009, I have been quite busy with my project which I will talk about it soon. I have been involved in affiliate marketing through internet since 2007. Yes these past few years it has been booming and a lot of people jumping on it because of the hype created by the marketer, but it’s not as easy as what those people say tho.. Anyways, since last year I have been struggling how to achieve my goal.. it’s not big goal tho.. just a milestone to the big goal. We need a big and goal and create a lot of milestones along the way to achieve it Thanks to God again, because of my trip to France, I got an idea that I wouldn’t realize if I didn’t go there. And because of that, I’m so happy that as today I finally reach my goal that I have been struggling since last year.. it’s not big one but.. yay!! finally I reach it, I can’t express my feeling in writing, but it is definitely a great feeling haha.. time to set and achieve the next milestone.. gotta throw more seeds ^_^v  Well, thanks for reading this, I still believe the story about connecting the dots by Steve Jobs during Stanford Commencement that whatever things happen in our life, either good or bad, is somehow connected, I recommend you to read it.

Most of the successful person out there are normally those who is willing to make more mistake. Successful people are willing to risk making mistake, they don’t take mistake personally as in front to their self worth, instead, use it primarily for learning.

Here is the ultimate success formula: Action -> Feedback -> Correction

When you take action in this world, most of the time you’ll get feedback based on the action you took. From the feedback, sometimes you need to take correction of your action. Then you take action again and do the same cycle again until you become better. It’s this simple to become success but not so many people will follow this step. People will be stopped by their own stories on the feedback and correction. “Oh.. I’m not good enough..“, “I’m a failure“, “I shouldn’t doing this“, etc.

Successful people understand this simple concept and keep taking action get feedback and do correction. They don’t really have the whole story around it, they just do it. Only your own BS stopping you from taking action.

Most people want things to go very right, everything line up perfectly before they take action. Otherwise they will say “I don’t think this is for me“, “Oh.. this is too hard“, etc. You have to understand that correction is natural, in your business, money, relationship, personal development. How many people notice that “two steps forwards, one step back” is natural.

Talking about perfection, perfectionist will actually have hard time to become successful. Perfection is actually a form of fear: fear of failure, fear of disapproval, even fear of success. Often perfectionist have feeling of unworthiness behind that. They’re trying to feel what they don’t feel they have, trying to feel perfect means they don’t feel good enough. Here is the issue why perfectionist stuff doesn’t work, if the source/person take action, they do something and the source is not good enough, then everything they do is not good enough. If you’re a perfectionist that always feel not good enough, then everything you do will also not good enough. Not only what you do is not good enough, but everyone /everything around you is also not good enough. You can’t win this way.

You’re gonna do a lot better making some mistake and correcting it than you’re wallowing in your mind freak. We’re often think too much without doing anything. People want everything lines up perfectly like ducks in rows before they’re taking action. Successful people do not wait for ducks to line up before they do anything. They do have different motto: “Get ready the best you can, You don’t have a lot of time, Take a shot, and then re-adjust your aiming”. If you have taken archery or shooting before, you’ll know, you can wait 6 hours before you shoot and when you shoot, you’ll miss. Is it better if you just take your best aiming, shoot and readjust? People are so afraid of failure, they don’t want to do anything, especially the big thing they really really want. Just go for it and adjust a long the way, you will realize there wont be a time where there is an absolutely perfect. There is always something up in the air before the ducks finally line up, if even the ducks will line up, it will be temporary only, it wont last long. It’s not worth waiting for.

We often heard people say “I’ll start my own business when I have the right capital“. Well, it’s better to start smaller, get in to the game, make mistake and learn it along the way, and grow from there, than wait until you get a right amount of capital, and have your first shoot and BLOW. Here are few others thing that we often hear in our life “I’ll start to do marketing once we have our brochure“, “We’ll start to have a family once we’re financially secure“.

So, what you want to do in your life that you’re waiting for the perfect situation? What is it that perfect duck line looks for you? and What is the chance it will happened based from your experience? What will happened if you just fire it NOW? Yes, you’ll make mistake, but you’ll make correction and improving it. Believe me, you’ll get so much further a head than you’re sitting and waiting for perfect situation.

What? My true self is not necessarily who I’m right now? Yes, you got it right. For some people, who you are right now might be your true self, but most people, they don’t. First, let me introduce the term: True Self or Higher Self Vs False Self or Conditioning Mind.

One the most important thing that you can learn in your live is to differentiate between this two. The true self is your original self, who you came in to the world as. The false self basically is who you learn to be in this world in order to live and survive in the world. Since child, we learn who we are from various way and one way is from experience, and this way of being that we learn or created is called our personality (false self / ego self), this false self is an idea that you made up when you’re very little who you are and who you need to be in order to live and survive in this world.

Your personality is based on the need to survive, it’s not necessary to enjoy and thrive in the world.
Our way of thinking and being is based on conclusion in which the assumption is generated based on a child’s mind. Based on research, 90% of your personality is formed before 10 years old. Other than our assumption, we also got some conditioning from our family, friends, media, environment. But all of this stuff is NOT the real you. It’s only a recording of information that you learn from a child and it’s running unconsciously until now. It’s only recording that you learn as a child, and now it’s stored in the unconscious mind.

You’re are not the recorder, you’re not the tape, you’re are the one playing the tape. You’re not what’s in the glass, you’re are the glass, the one holding the glass. You’re are not the condition mind, your mind is part of you, you’re what hold your mind. If the content of recorder or water inside the glass or your mind doesn’t support you, you can change it, don’t let yourself being controlled by your mind. The key to freedom is to identify your true self and yourself, and be able to separate your self from your false self. when you do this, you have an opportunity of choice. you observe your own mind, and chose if you want to follow it or not. Most people don’t know this, they believe that their false self or who they learn to be as is who they are. People think it’s normal, normal means generally accepted by other people. Yes, it’s normal, but it’s not natural, it’s not their true self.

People who is still searching for happiness, love, peace, inner peace, fulfillment, joy in their life with conditional mind wont find it because 90% of the time, conditional mind is a survival mechanism. the job is for protection and often is based on fear, worried.

So, where do we find our true self, well the good news is you don’t need to find your true self anywhere else, your true self is always there. Most of the times, the conditional mind screaming so loud until you wont hear your true self. You need to quite your mind and being at the present moment. Your true self always contain the highest thought, the clearest words and the grandest feeling. Those thought which contains Joy, those words which contain Truth, and those feeling which contains Love. That’s it, Joy, Truth and Love. The moment you’re in the present moment and you act or think based on joy, truth and love, you’re in your true self. The moment your mind is in future or past, or in fear, you’re out of your true self. When you choose the action out of true self, you will do more than survive, you will do more than win, do more than succeed. Then you will experience the full glory of Who You Really Are and you will find true happiness and true success.

If it’s the case, why it’s not obvious to everyone? Well, it’s simply because we’re like a fish in water, the fish doesn’t know she’s in water all her life unless she’s out of the water. And we can’t know we’re living in false self, until we step out of false self. so, for practice, now you can constantly watch and observe yourself when you’re in true self or false self. The key is to have awareness of yourself. Only when you have awareness, then you can chose if you want to follow your conditional mind or your true self.

There are 4 different type of money personality. Money personality is the attitude of someone toward money. The way people do and see money in their life. Each money personality has their positive and negative character. Find out which one is yours and learn how to balance it below:

1. The Saver.

For savers, money is simply a form of control and power. Savers are very calculative and responsible toward their money. When they’re eating together with their friends in the restaurant, they will split up the bill equally until a single cent. Normally they are very good money manager and long term thinker. This characteristics may make them look like stingy, cheap and boring. Most of the time, they will miss out a good opportunity and seldom have fun in their life. The key is to balance by spending their play jar so that they can enjoy their life. Blow all your money in play jar every month without worrying too much about their money. The play jar is intended to this purpose.

2. The Spender

Spenders see money as an emotional space goat. They use money to release their sadness, worried, stress and other non-fulfillment thing in their life. For them, shopping is like retail therapy. They seems enjoying their life, they have glamorous life style and happy life. They don’t think long term about their money, their money is easy come easy go and their famous quote is “It’s only money”. Their bank statement will look like 0 + 0 + 0 = Overdraft. When they’re eating together with their friends in the restaurant, they will gladly pay all the bills. For them to balance their life, the key is to have FFA jar, set their budget and realize that money can’t buy happiness.

3. The Avoider

Normally avoider will try their best to avoid money related at all cost. When you visit this people, you will notice unopened bills and bank statements for few months stacking in their desk. They always last minute in term of paying bill and fees and if they can, they will delegate the job to other people. They want to avoid any responsibility toward the money. For them to balance, the key is to spend 30 minutes every day to manage their money and start to learn all about investment and passive income.

4. Money Monk

For money monk, they’re very spiritual, peaceful and idealistic. They feel money is beneath them, money is not important and when you ask them about bank statements, they will answer “what is bank”. For them to be balanced, the key is for them to see money as another form of energy. They need to be grounded and have preset structure by doing the money jars.

It’s not uncommon a lot of people in this world trying to be someone they’re not, they even try to please other people just to get recognition, attention and approval. This is #1 misery people do in their life without reality and indeed this is the fastest route to unhappiness.

Instead of trying to get approval from others, you need to have your own self-approval by accepting yourself and your own heart. Accept that you’re unique and special. You shouldn’t concern too much what people think or thought around you. You should have this principal: If other people like you, it’s awesome. If other people don’t like you, you’re just fine.

Now, why do we have to stop pleasing everyone? Because it’s Impossible!! There are millions of people in this world with millions of ideas. Everyone has their own agenda and everyone follow “what it is on me” mind which means they only think or focus for himself. What they want is more important that you.  So, why would you care what other people think about you then? Don’t take anything personally, it will make you easy prey in this world. Don’t be too emotionally attached with others, it will only dry you out and it will get your ego out which will be bad for your own. When people criticize you, it’s actually has nothing to do with you because it’s saying a lot about themselves than you.
