Successful Mindset

This time I would like to bring a great topic that I really really value it in my life, and I just know the huge secret and potential behind it, Integrity. All this time, I thought self-confidence was more important to achieve success in your life. I focus only on how to boost and maintain high self-confidence and find it’s a bit hard to keep it up all the time, especially when what you’re doing seems go so wrong.

Harv Eker taught me that we need to honor integrity more than anything. Here is the big secret of integrity:

Integrity -> Trust -> Confidence -> Action.

Integrity will lead to trust, trust will lead to confidence to produce action as your result. When you have high integrity, it will boost your self trust and it will boost your self confidence as well. And guess what, it will not only boost yourself, other people will have trust on you and other people will have confidence on you and willing to take action for you too. You see here, integrity is a higher power of energy. When people have higher energy, people will get attracted to you and when they show up, build them (of course you need to have leadership as well).

This is a very good piece of thought. Read carefully and relate it to your life.  Take a look at an apple tree. There might be five hundred apples on the tree and each apple has ten seeds. That’s a lot of seeds! We might ask, “Why would you need so many seeds to grow just a few more apple trees?” Nature has something to teach us here. It’s telling us: “Not all seeds grow. In life, most seeds never grow”. So if you really want to make something happen, you had better try more than once. This might mean:
-You’ll attend twenty interviews to get one job.
-You’ll interview forty people to find one good employee.
-You’ll talk to fifty people to sell one house, one car, one vacuum cleaner, one insurance policy, or a business idea
-And you might meet a hundred acquaintances just to find one special friend.When we understand the “Law of the Seed”, we don’t get so disappointed. We stop feeling like victims. We learn how to deal with things that happen to us. Laws of nature are not things to take personally. We just need to understand them – and work with them. IN A NUTSHELL: Successful people fail more often. But they plant more seeds.

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007. Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

I just completed the Millionaire Mind Intensive training last weekend, it was 3 full freaking days 9am-11pm training and I can only say it in one word.. It’s AWESOME! Seriously… I never regret I spend 3 full days doing this seminar. Now I really believe this program was worth hundreds-thousands of dollar in value. Harv Eker brings this program to Asia, well he need to build reputation in here after he has been famous in US. He is not only good at money, business & self development, but he’s also a spiritual person. I have learned a lot of thing that change the way I see about money and myself. Ok, enough said about him, the reason for me to post this blog is to share what I have learned for benefit of everyone who read this blog who interested to know. I definitely can’t write everything I have learned in 3 days in here, but I’ll summary the important point that I consider useful for me. Here we go:

Today I receive 2 free tickets for Harv Eker’s 3 days seminar this coming friday in Singapore : The Millionaire Mind Intensive “The Secret Psychology of Wealth” that he claimed it cost $1290 each ticket in US. I don’t really believe it’s value $1290, but I don’t really bother it since I’m not paying any single cen. Well, it’s actually not really free ticket, I got the ticket as bonus because I bought his product before that I thought a bit overprice. Anyway, Harv Eker claimed after attended this 3 days intensive course, he will be able to change our financial life forever by changing our “Money Blueprint” (refer to my previous post of the definition) by participating in some kinda games or something. I’m gonna see what kind of ‘games’ that he promised can change our financial life he will deliver during this 3 days seminar. I’m inviting my good friend who loves motivational self improvement thing to come with me. I know there will be a lot of sales pitch during this seminar, but asides of that, I’ll absorb and post it here any of his valuable information that worth taking home for benefit of everyone. Have you seen Facing The Giants yet? Yesterday I watched Facing The Giants and I absolutely love it, I love Christian movie and football combine together. I was so blessed watching Facing The Giants beginning to the end of the movie. Facing The Giants is a movie about Christian high school football coach who trusts God to do the impossible; how he turns his underdog football team faces their giants of fear and failure on and off the field to surprising results. All believers and ‘want-to’ believers should definitely see this movie. I recommend you to watch the movie even though perhaps you’re not Christian; I believe you will get inspired by the movie as well. There are so much thing you can learn from the movie that you can apply it into your daily life to your success. Facing The Giants will teach you how to overcoming great obstacles, something everyone faces and how to celebrates the power of the human spirit to rise above what we think is possible.

“Why Does It Always Rain On Me?”

Ok, The title is clear enough, what to do when you feel down? People say life is like roller-coaster, sometimes we’re in the up, and some other time we’re in the down moment. We’re all only human, even the most positive mindset people in the world will feel down when a lot of sequences of bad events come to his life. The next question is how to get up when we’re in down moment. Do all those motivator or positive articles really help you when you’re in down moment? When you read those positive articles, it sounds very easy and maybe only those people in neutral mood or in the up moment will read and agree. But what happened when you feel down? From my personal experience, when I feel down, I don’t even have a mood to read those articles. This past few weeks I myself felt down, even I try to re-read my own article ‘Happiness Now and Forever‘, it did not really give the effect for me to get up from down moment. I’m not saying it’s useless, it helps, but still not enough for me to get out of down moment.

A lot of people will suggest you to hang out with your friends and seek for advice from your friend or those people who has experienced the same situation with you. Yes it helps, but not enough for me, sometimes deep inside our mind, we’re still not satisfied. For me personally, I analyzed and tried to find out what the root cause of this down feeling. For every action there is reaction, and for every cause there is an effect. When you feel down, there must be root cause of it. If it is something that can be solve, then try to find the solution instead of keep thinking about it again and again. Last time I felt down because I lose and couldn’t achieve all the thing I was hoping for, from career, desire to have business, relationship, investment, etc . So the solution for me was to create a new hope, pray to god and have a faith on it. I really felt how important it is to have a dream/hope in your life, it is like the purpose or the destination in your life. when you live without dream or hope, you life your life without any direction. When you lose your hope/dream, dare to create a new one, don’t be afraid to disappointed again. Dare to dream big and you shall achieve it one day.

Last week I was discussing the meaning of success in our life with some of my friends. Each of us has different interpretation of successful life. It’s true, living a successful life might mean different things to different people. Some of people consider financial wealth as success while developing close personal relationships can be considered success by others. Even people who agree financial wealth as the definition of success might have different wealth measurable. But, whether you want to achieve financial wealth, close friendships, or business success, there is only one thing that everyone has in common when pursuing a successful life which is mindset. Developing a positive mindset is very essential for motivating yourself to achieve your goals and eventually being able to consider yourself a true success.

How to develop the correct positive mindset for living a successful life then? The first key is believing that you have the power to achieve your goals. If you don’t have confidence and belief that you can have a successful life, you wont be able to achieve it because you will be unable to motivate yourself to perform the necessary action to succeed. Have a confidence, high self esteem and believing in yourself may take some time, especially if you encounter problems in your life. Everyone facing a lot of problem, and as the result, sometimes it often lead you to believe that you can not be successful, but you need to overcome these feeling.

A positive mindset is the foundation for success. “People often don’t realize how just a simple change in their thinking can have a massive impact on the success in their lives. Put simply, if people can get their thinking right, the benefits will naturally follow”.

I want to share Steve Jobs commencement speech in Stanford about his own life, I find it very interesting and motivating me. I believe you will get inspired hearing what he say. I totally agree with his 1st story about ‘connecting the dots’. Indeed if I take a look few years back on my life, all that was happening to me either bad or good was connecting each other, you will be able to see this clearly few years later. So, those of you who currently feel down in your life, rest assure, it will over soon and it will bring in something good to you in the future. Just hang on tightly, don’t give up. The best speaker of day 2 of NAC was T.Harv Eker. He is the author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and Speed Wealth. This guy went from zero to millionaire in only 2 1/2 years! Can you believe that? I mean, seriously, how many people in this world can actually achieve that? He claimed he just need 5 minutes to talk with you and he will able to tell your finance whether you can be rich or not for the rest of your life.

Money Blueprint

We all have certain programmed in thought patterns, most of which we are not even aware, that determine our level of financial well being, it is called Money blueprint. He showed that our money blueprint create result in life and how we can reprogrammed it to archive the result that we want. Lack of money is not the problem, lack of money is the result of our inner world (mental, emotional & spiritual), that’s why we need to upgrade our inner world first if we want to be successful.
